PT Jawa Power owns a 1,220 MW coal-fired power station (2x610 MW). Jawa Power is one of the largest IPPs in Indonesia with a 30-year power purchase agreement with PT PLN (Persero). The power station entered commercial operation in year 2000 and supplies power into the Java-Bali 500kV grid. The Ministry of Living Environment and Forestry has recognized Jawa Power’s commitment towards environment conservation and CSR since 2004, through twelve PROPER Green Awards and two PROPER Gold Awards
